Boston Marathon '06

Students support founder of Emagine, math teacher Oliver Sicat, during the Boston Marathon on April 17th. Sicat ran the marathon to kick off the Friends of Emagine Fundraiser Campaign to raise $20,000 for laptops for 20 college bound Emagine students. The best part of the marathon, Sicat said, "Was when the students jumped from the crowd on Mile 22 and joined me for a mile. That just reconfirmed that I was running for the right reason." He finished the marathon in 4 hours 24 minutes and 34 seconds. This was 30 minutes faster than his goal.

Students celebrate the marathon finish with pizza and stories about their hectic travel to the various stops from Hopkinton to Boston.
